What are you going to do for your body this year?

Welcome to 2023 family! Around this time every year, the gyms are completely filled up, workout programs are being bought and magic diet plans are being sold. Long story short, a lot of people will be looking for the fastest way to get fit and some of them might even have it on their must do list before the year runs out and that leaves a lot of people vulnerable. Because you want to loose a lot of weight in such a little amount of time you are ready to do anything and spend any amount to achieve that.

If you follow my blog you should be well aware that there are no secrets to achieving your best physique yet, there are just a lot of wrong information on the internet that is probably twisting your thoughts, so i put together this post to guide you through your fitness journey this new year!

What should you do?

For starters, get your mind straight. Weight loss or muscle gain cannot happen overnight! You need to be disciplined and consistent for you to get results. Do not fall into the trap of social media posts saying you can get ripped in 30 days. Getting fit takes a while and as long as you’re patient and consistent, you will definitely get your desired results.

Define your goals.

What do you want to achieve from your current routine? How much effort are you willing to put to achieve it? Lay down the basics and build up from there. Differeent goals will require differrent efforts but nevertheless, you have to put in the work.

Draw your plan.

How frequently can you train in a week? What is the most optimal way i can eat? Look for a sustainable approach, something that you can incorporate into your daily regimen and flow with it. Remember fitness is a lifestyle not just a touch and go game.

Get to work!

Once you have succeeded in completing the above steps, you should get to work. You may not have all the answers at the moment but it’s better to get started and figure out everything as you go on rather than thinking about getting started. That way, you’ll be closer to your goals than you think.

Summary

Getting fit and staying fit requires a change in your lifestyle. Exercising should be part of you and not just a short term goal. Find a sustainable approach and work with it.
